  • ✋ Privacy preferences: hide the domains and IP addresses that you accessed, and protect your privacy on shared computers. Access the new privacy features from the Settings.
  • 🚫 Always-on mode: force TripMode to filter and block traffic on any network. You can turn it on from menu > Settings > General.
  • 💣 Reset counter: Want to reset the data usage counters? You can now easily do so from menu > Reset counter.
  • 💪 Many minor improvements and bug fixes, including performance optimizations for macOS Ventura.
Erase your domain history from TripMode’s privacy preferences

How to get the update?

  • If you downloaded TripMode from our website, you should get prompted to get the update. To check manually, simply go to the About screen and check for updates.
  • If you have Setapp, the update should be pushed to you automatically.
  • The Mac App Store version should be updated automatically as well. If you have automatic updates turned off, simply go to the Mac App Store and check the Updates section.

New to TripMode? Simply download the 7-day free trial from our website or the Mac App Store, and give it a spin.

Important note: Make sure to update macOS to the latest version to ensure that TripMode filters all traffic. Apple fixed a major bug that was present in macOS versions older than 11.2, where the traffic of many Apple apps was hidden from apps like TripMode.
